Kalyan Srinivas Tankala

I build businesses that do not exist yet, inside companies that already do. Four of them so far: a B2B fresh produce supply chain, a daily linen rental network I co-founded, an enterprise mixed reality ecosystem, and a blue collar recruitment marketplace.

The common thread is not an industry. It is the shape of the problem: a mandate with no playbook, a fragmented and price-sensitive customer base, and an operating model that has to be discovered on the ground before it can be systematised.

I started in program management and operational strategy at JP Morgan, which is where I learned which processes are bureaucracy and which are load-bearing.

Targeting

In scope

  • Founder's Office, Special Projects, Strategic Initiatives, New Business
  • Head of New Business, Category Lead, Head of Growth
  • Chief of Staff, where the mandate is real execution
  • Series A to C. B2B marketplace, supply chain, workforce tech, logistics, SMB
  • Bengaluru or Mumbai. Remote-first works when the scope is real

Out of scope

  • Pure product management roles
  • Strategy roles with no execution ownership
  • Advisory or purely analytical work with no delivery mandate
  • Large-company middle management with no 0-1 scope

What I want from a founder: intellectual honesty as a thought partner on problem definition and solution direction. I own execution completely, but I want the framing stress-tested hard before I spend six months against it.

Inventory
  1. 01

    0-1 category and business building

Olimpio at $1.2M ARR, Ninjacart at ₹120Cr ARR with a team of 162, Jio Tesseract at 30 enterprise applications, and two new categories at Vahan. A pattern, not a one-off.

  2. 02

Willing to be the first person on the ground

First field sales person, first supply acquisition person, first ops person, before there is a team. The hardest thing to find in operators at this level.

  3. 03

B2B intuition in fragmented, price-sensitive markets

Farmers and mandis at Ninjacart. Logistics companies, recruitment agencies, and small manufacturers at Vahan. Service businesses at Olimpio. Markets where unit economics and trust are the only currency.

  4. 04

    Cross-functional program management

Thirty-plus stakeholder programs at Jio Tesseract, cross-functional teams at Ninjacart and Olimpio, process design inside JP Morgan.
